The published cost layers
| Layer | Published figure | What to do with it |
|---|---|---|
| Virtual card issuance | $10.00 | Card-order fee, not a registration fee |
| Physical card issuance | $100.00 | Separate from postage |
| Account maintenance | Waived | Does not wipe the other layers |
| Cryptocurrency conversion | 1.00% | The transaction-fee note on the table. A $20.00 spend can become $20.20 when this fee applies |
| Default-currency transaction | Waived | Only the default currency |
| Non-default currency | 1.20% | Can sit on top of conversion |
| USD card ATM | 2% up to $10,000 in a month, then 3% | Do not copy this onto an HKD card |
| HKD card ATM | 2% | The ATM operator can still add its own charge |
| Small authorization | First 5 per card each month waived, then $0.20 when the amount is $1.00 or less | A tiny retry is not free after that |
| Declined transaction | First 3 per card each month waived, then $0.50 | Repeated declines add cost |
| Deposit line on the table | Free on the HKD and USD BIN rows shown | Network, exchange, and third-party costs are not waived |
| Standard mail | Waived | Not a promise of delivery to Algeria |
| DHL Express | Varies by country | The address checkout calculates it |
One purchase can meet more than one row. The 1.00% conversion fee is not the whole cost of spending.
Older promo prices versus your checkout
SAVE2 is the virtual-card code and DZ100 is the physical-card code, both typed on the card checkout screen rather than in a registration field. On 16 September 2026 an in-app order captured $8.00 after SAVE2 on the $10.00 virtual fee, and $80.00 after DZ100 on the $100.00 physical fee. On 26 September 2026 the discount still showed at checkout.
On 7 October 2026 the site operator tried both codes again in the app. Both still applied. That try did not record a new checkout amount, so $8.00 and $80.00 stay the 16 September capture. Eligibility and the final price follow the app. Do not treat either code as a reason to fund an account in Algeria.
Shipping, import, refunds, and declines
Standard mail is waived on the fee table, and express postage is calculated from the address. Being unnamed on the delivery list is not proof a card will leave the warehouse, enter Algeria, or avoid import tax or a courier hold. This page does not know that tax.
A merchant can decline the payment. The billing region and the merchant's own rules decide acceptance, and the card cannot be used to buy crypto. After three declined transactions on that card in a month, the table charges $0.50 each. After five authorizations of $1.00 or less, it charges $0.20 each. Stop retrying once the reason is unclear.
A refund can arrive later and can be smaller than the amount you paid. A decline can also leave a temporary hold. This site cannot see the payment or force the refund.
A bank card and this card do different jobs
A local bank card spends from an account in your name, under that bank's foreign-exchange rules. Banxy and Société Générale's international Visa are the two comparisons on the Algeria guide, where their account conditions are stated once. No bank fee is invented here.
A RedotPay card does not give you an Algerian account number. It does not receive an IBAN transfer, a PayPal withdrawal, or a payout from a shop or an ad platform. The card also cannot send funds through transfer or wallet platforms; the Help Center names bKash, Revolut, Skrill, URPAY, and Wise. That limit is about the card. It does not mean a separate account balance or deposit feature is absent. If those features exist for an account, the app is where they show.
Use the bank route for money that has to land in Algeria. Use this table only to see published card costs, then read your own checkout if you already have a lawful reason to look.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a RedotPay virtual card cost in Algeria?
The official issuance fee is $10.00. A 16 September 2026 checkout captured $8.00 with SAVE2. On 26 September 2026 the discount still showed. On 7 October 2026 the code still applied in the operator's app, with no new amount recorded. Your checkout is the price that counts.
How much does a RedotPay physical card cost in Algeria?
The official issuance fee is $100.00, before postage. A 16 September 2026 capture showed $80.00 with DZ100. On 26 September 2026 the discount still showed. On 7 October 2026 the code still applied, with no new amount recorded. Standard mail is waived on the fee table; express varies and is calculated from the address. Delivery to Algeria is not guaranteed.
Is 1.00% the only fee?
No. 1.00% is the cryptocurrency conversion fee on the official table. A non-default currency can add 1.20%. ATM, small authorizations, declines, and third-party funding costs are separate. Account maintenance is waived.
Can I receive PayPal or an IBAN transfer on the card?
No. The card does not receive those payouts, and it cannot send funds through services such as Wise. A separate deposit feature, if the app shows one, is not the same thing as an Algerian bank account. Compare Banxy or a Société Générale Visa for that job.
What happens if the payment is declined or refunded?
The first three declines on a card each month are waived, then the table charges $0.50. A refund can be late or smaller than the payment. This site cannot recover either one.
