Change contact details through the app’s Security screen

RedotPay’s documented path is: tap your profile icon, select Security, choose Email address or Phone number, then tap the matching change option and complete the on-screen verification. Follow the prompts in the official app; this guide does not provide a bypass if you cannot complete verification.

The Help Center explains that the temporary restrictions protect funds because contact-detail changes are a common account-takeover route. Plan around them before confirming a change. Do not send a password or authentication code to this independent site or to anyone offering to change details for you.

What the 24-hour security window affects

  • Withdrawals are paused.
  • Internal transfers between RedotPay users are paused.
  • Currency conversions are paused.
  • Card spending is temporarily capped.

For a phone or email change, RedotPay’s dedicated contact-detail article gives a 1,000 USD per-day card-spending cap. Its separate card-limit article says card spending can be up to 1,000 USD per transaction and 1,000 USD per day after changing or removing a phone number, email address or Google Authenticator, or resetting a password. These are official descriptions of a security limit, not a promise that a merchant payment will be approved.

Plan for the restricted actions before you make the change

If this is a routine planned change, check whether you have a withdrawal, internal transfer or currency conversion that must happen first. If you suspect someone else has access to the account, do not postpone a needed security change merely to avoid the temporary restrictions. Afterward, note when the change was confirmed and use the app’s current status to distinguish a temporary security limit from an unrelated decline or a card-specific spending setting.

This 24-hour account-security window is different from an account lock after repeated incorrect password attempts and from a card freeze. See the locked-versus-disabled account guide or the card-freeze guide only if that is the message you actually see. The card limit guide covers the separate per-card controls a user can set.

If the restriction remains after the period RedotPay documents, check the latest in-app message and contact official support through the app or Help Center. Do not infer that a failed payment proves the contact change caused it; the sources do not diagnose an individual account.

Card-order promo codes are unrelated to security limits

SAVE2 is for an eligible virtual-card order; DZ100 is for an eligible physical-card order. Enter the matching code in the promo field at card checkout only when the app offers that card and field to your account, then check current conditions and the final app total. These card-order codes do not lift the 24-hour restrictions, increase a spending cap or discount a transfer or conversion. The operator reported card-code usability on October 27, 2026; this publisher did not run a new checkout test. Read the card-order code conditions.

Frequently asked questions

What happens after I change my RedotPay email or phone number?

RedotPay says withdrawals, internal transfers and currency conversions are paused for 24 hours. Card spending is capped; the dedicated contact-detail article states 1,000 USD per day, while a separate security-limit article describes up to 1,000 USD per transaction and per day for listed security changes. Check the current app if its displayed limit differs.

How do I change my contact details?

In the app, open your profile, select Security, choose Email address or Phone number, select the matching change option, and complete the on-screen verification.

Do SAVE2 or DZ100 remove the 24-hour limit?

No. SAVE2 is for an eligible virtual-card order and DZ100 for an eligible physical-card order, entered in the matching card-checkout promo field under current conditions. They do not change account-security restrictions or spending limits.
