Card issuance fees

RedotPay's published card issuance fees, checked against official Help Center fee guidance. These are the prices where a card can be issued; India is named on the official Card Issuance Restrictions list.

Ongoing transaction fees

  • Account maintenance: waived.
  • Crypto conversion / transaction fee: 1.00%. Example: a $20.00 spend can become $20.20 after this fee when it applies.
  • Non-default currency transaction: 1.20%.
  • ATM withdrawal (USD card): 2% when monthly withdrawals are ≤ $10,000, otherwise 3%; some countries use lower daily/monthly ATM caps — confirm in-app.

These figures come from RedotPay's official Card Limitations & Fees and ATM fee Help Center articles, not third-party estimates. They describe what a RedotPay card costs to hold and use, wherever one can be issued. The app's checkout and statement screens control the final amount.

Why these fees do not currently apply in India

As rechecked on 17 September 2026, India is named on the official Card Issuance Restrictions list, whose text states that residents of the listed regions are ineligible for both virtual and physical cards and that those locations cannot be registered as billing addresses. India is separately named on the Card Delivery Restrictions list. There is therefore no card order for an Indian resident to apply SAVE2 or DZ100 to right now.

  • Do not pay for a card expecting either code to push an ineligible order through.
  • Do not use another country's billing address or a borrowed document. The same list names billing-address registration explicitly, and a failed address or identity check can cost you the account.
  • Recheck the official list yourself before acting — it is linked in Sources and it does change.

Where SAVE2 and DZ100 do apply

Where RedotPay does issue a card, the matching code goes on the card checkout screen — SAVE2 for a virtual card, DZ100 for a physical card — and never in the registration referral field. Confirm the discounted total in the app before paying; a code that worked elsewhere is not a guarantee for your account or country. See the promo code hub and referral code vs promo code.

What this page does not cover

P2P/INR conversion spreads and any UPI-, bank-, or wallet-side charges outside RedotPay are set by those third parties, not RedotPay, and are not published on RedotPay's official fee page — this guide does not estimate them. Confirm any P2P rate directly in the app at the time of the transaction. This page also does not describe ways around the card-issuance restriction. Until 16 September 2026 the India guides on this site recommended a virtual card for India; that was wrong and was corrected on 16 September 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a RedotPay card in India right now?

Not according to RedotPay's official lists. As rechecked on 17 September 2026, India is named on RedotPay's official Card Issuance Restrictions list, whose text says listed residents are ineligible for both virtual and physical cards and cannot register those locations as billing addresses. India is on the Card Delivery Restrictions list as well. Confirm the current lists and your own app result.

How much does a RedotPay virtual card cost?

RedotPay's published virtual-card application fee is $10.00, or $8.00 with promo code SAVE2 entered at card checkout. That price applies where a card can be issued; as rechecked on 17 September 2026 India is on the official Card Issuance Restrictions list, so it does not currently apply to Indian residents.

How much does a RedotPay physical card cost?

RedotPay's published physical-card application fee is $100.00, or $80.00 with promo code DZ100 entered at card checkout. Again, that is the price where a card can be issued: India is named on both the official Card Issuance Restrictions and Card Delivery Restrictions lists as rechecked on 17 September 2026.

Is there a RedotPay account maintenance fee?

No. Account maintenance is waived; you pay the one-time card issuance fee and per-transaction fees only, wherever a card can be issued.

What does RedotPay charge for ATM withdrawals?

2% when monthly withdrawals are $10,000 or less, otherwise 3%, based on official Help Center ATM fee guidance. Some countries have lower daily or monthly ATM caps — confirm in the app.
