Why hasn't my physical card been shipped yet?

RedotPay lists three checks before you assume the parcel is lost.

  1. Card status. If the card was frozen or reported lost during production, production may have been paused. Unfreeze the card or resolve the reported issue. Production resumes once the card status returns to normal. The article does not name extra buttons for that unfreeze, so confirm in the app.
  2. Address problem. Check in-app notifications and email for an alert about the shipping address. If you received one, open the RedotPay app, go to [Card], and tap [Update now] to submit a corrected address. Include your full street name and house number so the same delay does not repeat.
  3. Production time. Physical card production typically takes 10–15 business days. Public holidays can extend that timeline.

Applying is covered on the physical card page. Two notes from the application article matter while you wait: payment confirms the application and cannot be canceled or refunded, and both the billing address and the shipping address must be entered in English. Physical cards are not available in every country.

Can I change the shipping address if the card has not been sent?

It depends on production status. If the card has not shipped, you may still be able to change the address in the app. If it has already shipped, the address can no longer be updated.

To check:

  1. Open the RedotPay app, tap [Card], and select your physical card.
  2. If you see a "Preparing your card" banner, tap [Update now] and enter the new shipping address.

The article does not describe a second button for the case where that banner is missing. Confirm in the app. The cardholder name on the billing address is printed on the back of the card and cannot be changed after issuance. City, state or province, and postal code need to match the selected country, and the address needs a valid phone number.

How do I find the activation code and activate the card?

Activation is what turns the arrived card on for ATM withdrawals and in-store payments. How to pay after that is on how to pay with a RedotPay card.

Find the code. Open the envelope gently. The card is attached to a paper insert. The activation code is printed on the insert, near the bottom, and the card's last 4 digits are shown next to it. Before you activate, check that the last 4 digits on the plastic match the last 4 digits shown in the RedotPay app.

Activate in the app.

  1. Open the RedotPay app and tap [Card].
  2. Select your card, then tap [Activate now].
  3. Enter the activation code.

Keep the activation code safe and do not share it with anyone.

Which countries cannot be shipped a physical card?

As rechecked on 28 September 2026, RedotPay's Card Delivery Restrictions list says physical card delivery is unavailable in the regions below because of logistical constraints and customs complexities. Egypt, India, Morocco, and Tunisia are on that list. India and Morocco are also on the Card Issuance Restrictions list, rechecked on 28 September 2026. That issuance article says residents of the areas it names are ineligible for both virtual and physical cards, and that those locations cannot be registered as billing addresses. Egypt and Tunisia are not named on the Card Issuance Restrictions list rechecked on 28 September 2026. This page does not offer India or Morocco another way to obtain a card.

What do Standard Mail and DHL cost?

On the card fee table, Standard Mail for a physical card is waived, and delivery time may vary by destination. DHL Express varies by country. RedotPay describes it as fast delivery, with the exact shipping fee calculated at checkout from your address. The rest of the fee table is on fees and limits.

Frequently asked questions

How long does RedotPay take to produce a physical card?

Production typically takes 10–15 business days, and public holidays can extend that. A freeze or a lost-card report during production can pause it until the card status is normal again.

Where do I fix a bad shipping address?

If you were alerted about the address, open Card and tap Update now, and include the full street name and house number. If the card screen shows a Preparing your card banner, that Update now button is where you enter a new shipping address. After the card has shipped, the address can no longer be updated.

Where is the activation code?

On the paper insert the card is attached to, near the bottom. The last 4 digits are printed next to the code. Match those digits to the physical card and to the last 4 digits in the app before you tap Activate now.

Can RedotPay ship a physical card to Egypt, India, Morocco, or Tunisia?

No. As rechecked on 28 September 2026, all four are on the Card Delivery Restrictions list. India and Morocco are also on the Card Issuance Restrictions list, which makes residents ineligible for both virtual and physical cards.

Is Standard Mail free?

The fee table says Standard Mail is waived, with delivery time that may vary by destination. DHL Express varies by country, and the exact fee is calculated at checkout from your address.

Can I cancel a physical card I already paid for because it has not shipped?

The application article says payment confirms the application and it cannot be canceled or refunded. Address edits are a separate question, and only while the card has not shipped.
