Check the merchant and payment type

RedotPay says a merchant may reject the card because it does not accept the card network, its payment system blocks the transaction, or RedotPay restricts the payment to protect the account. Confirm whether you are paying online, at a point-of-sale terminal, or through a digital wallet.

Review the card controls in the app

  • Make sure the card is not frozen.
  • Enable online transactions for web and third-party wallet payments.
  • Enable offline transactions for point-of-sale payments.
  • Check the per-purchase and daily limits for this card.
  • Confirm the payment currency is enabled for settlement.
  • Check that the available balance covers the final amount.

Avoid repeated retries

Repeated failed attempts can look suspicious. Check the details once, wait if the card was recently activated or linked to another platform, and do not keep submitting the same payment rapidly.

What to tell support

Prepare the approximate time, amount, currency, merchant name, payment type, and any error shown in the app. Do not publish the full card number, CVV, password, one-time code, or identity documents.
